I test whether controls actually work.

I trained in physics at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology, and the discipline stuck: before I accept that a control works, I want to see it tested. That approach shaped six years of operational risk assessments and KYC audits at Ecobank, and it carries through my current focus on IT controls and third-party risk.

Most recently at NBN Systems, I tested security controls for design and operating effectiveness, built out vendor risk management, and used RSA Archer to keep remediation on schedule and push high-risk findings to senior leadership. Before that, a contract role at Brightview put me in charge of the data behind compliance reporting, including a migration of legacy reports into Power BI.

Years of part-time WordPress development also gave me a builder’s view of the systems I now assess. I’m completing a Master of Science in Cyber Defense at Dakota State University.
